Oh what a mess

I have to sort out a few problems at this end so will be off line for a few days catch up with you all soon.

Lace

A brilliant day yesterday, making lace from 10 ish to 4 ish with a quite a few gaps in between with hilarious laughter and a good chat about everything and nothing. We were a bit thin on the ground yesterday but good fun. My teacher Sue Thompson also taught me how to tat so we do tatting as well as lace. Back to painting the house before the weather changes.

Still painting

What have I started! Still good weather. Day off tomorrow Lace day at Goldsithney, I am finishing a bobbin lace collar that my Mum started 14 years ago. Mum passed away 10 years ago and I started to learn bobbin lace and tatting last November.

I am going back to the dentist next week to have the offending tooth out.

Did not have to wait so no tatting done so promised myself a coffee and a sit with some tatting. I had 3 little sessions and here are the results.

The pattern is Deb's GR-8 Butterfly.

Dentist

I shall resist putting the date in my title as it comes up anyway.
Off to the Dentist this morning, tooth needs sorting.
I will take my tatting whilst sitting in the waiting room, it helps to calm me down. I like the butterflys on the paper clips.

Hi day 2 tried in vain to get to follow Ladyshuttle maker. All I managed to do was to achieve was to follow myself. I have managed to put up her Monday giveaway hooray so some progress. Now to enter her Monday giveaway.
